My name is Jim Maas and I live in rural England. I grew up on a farm in Canada and have worked in the area of Animal Science for most of my life. I’m particularly interested in food production including that produced from grazing animals such as Dairy Cows, Beef Cattle, Sheep and Goats. As you will see from this blog, this extends to working on new ways to track the historical locations of individual animals. While this is currently a novel idea in most countries, I think it will be come necessary due to customer demand and the need from Government and Regulatory agencies.
